Mr. Spillane would write more, should write more but he says he has been out all too often drinking exotic cocktails (great word, cock-tail) and he's tired, sick and tired of being sick and tired. He has seen some concerts, some theatre (not theater,) been to some openings and some parties, started some parties and now he just feels like sitting in a large, comfortable chair, or maybe a couch, reading books, magazines and searching www.wifelovers.com for a future crazy girlfriend. Mr. Spillane has also been spending a large amount of time listening to musicmatch (fuck I-tunes!) he quivers to the melodies of such bands as The Arcade fire, The White Stripes, The Strokes and pretty much any band that has the word “the” in front of it. . Mr. Spillane also loves sleep, which has a twofold use--recharging the body for use in this life and preparation for the words that will unfold in the encore of his life in writing.
