james told me to go to google.com and type in the words "MAVICA" and "driver" to download the thing I need to open my pictures. I did what he said and all I got was a website that had MAVICA pictures of men and women in the "pile driver" position.
not what I had in mind but thanks james, its almost like having you here again.

I had the best birthday of my life at that concert with chris and tiff. james and i jumped around like idiots. I got drunk....won the ski pass. Chris kept going with me to the "bathroom" so he could sneak a smoke.....

seriously....i need help opening some "mavica" picture files from a disk onto my computer. I have no idea how and its really important (in my world of priorities where beer comes before paying rent) please, chris call me, email me, send a pidgeon carrying a tiny note to my window. Its probably a really easy task but for me its like trying to enjoy sex with james....extrememly difficult.

james knows how much i love chick-fil-a and called me to tell me that that they have them in texas (they obviously are not in WA). i told him that having spent 2 months in dallas i was aware of this, after which he hung up kind of disappointed.
i called him later to let him know that the new modest mouse cd came out yesterday to which he replied 'i already knew that' with just a touch of sass in his voice.

heading out to this place called barton springs, (look it up on the internet)in my head i am imagining Genni Springs, and thinking about florida dreaming. i am already worried about aligators and shit like that. but they have a diving board so at least i will get to do some back flips. i am also pasty and white and fat, so this will be a sort of chris farley goes swimming makes an ass of himself and gets extremely sunburnt sort of day. oh well, i can't help my self, i am here to have fun. i started filming and taking pictures. i will be sending them back soon. chris holland has his own site called chrisholland.com with pictures of himself on it, just in case he forgets what he looks like, maybe i can talk him into posting some of them. chris holland/fat guy goes to austin, sort of web site. also, i found some scorpions here. if i was a texan i wouldn't let outsiders such as myself know about the whole scorpion thing, because, well, they are super puny... less than an inch big... so everything isn't bigger in texas. ah ha

everything in texas is big... real big, i am getting lost and confused big... maybe this is why they name roads, (because there is so many of them) after numbers... farm to market route 1242, farm road 2397... the signs are black with white cutouts of texas in the middle and numbers... so you are driving down the road and you would say something like, "hey turn up here on 4267"... the girth of this place is scary....
earlier i went and pulled a 2-liter of diet coke out of my sisters fridge, except for some reason my hands felt small and clumbsy. well they don't drink 2-liters of coke down here, no they have 3-liters instead. everything is bigger in texas. Jamie, my sister's husband then informed me that he was born in Texas. i am still trying to figure out what he meant.

well i am here, in texas for the first time. when i landed in el paso, (desert like) i said to my mom, "mom this is my first time in texas..." than i said for no reason at all except that it sort of worked with the word texas... "guys dont make passes at girls with fat asses" brilliant. anyway there are a few things i noticed about the much greener austin... yes that is the first one... everything here is green, it is like Ireland green, or Scotland green, or New Zeland green... even greener than all of those. Chris, it is a lot like florida here, minus the old people... also, every fucking human over the age of something like 12, drives a pick up truck, i did spot two mexicans in a honda civic listening to eminem, but besides that... everyone drives a pick up of some sort... gas; gas is cheap here. 1.60 a gallon. oil country i guess. texas chain saw masscar, Dazed and confused... (king of the hill?) all filmed here in this town... also, stop light are all horizontal, rather than vertical, dont ask me? so these are my first observations. i have only been here 15 minutes, am getting ready eat homemade salsa and search for scorpions... will update later tonight.
