how it went down: yesterday was draft day, for some reason Jeremy and Steve decide to head out for breakfast and a bloody Mary. Draft time comes and jer and Steve stagger in hammered (it is only one o'clock.) Chris mans the laptop and two cell phones. All is chaos. After three hours of bad picks everyone decides to drown their sorrows in a few pitchers of beer. Jer gets more hammered, Steve is right behind. Chris decides to head home and sleep it off (it is only 5 pm.) Jer, Steve and I head up to the legion. There is a girl with big tits and for some reason she wants to show them to us. Her future husband is happy one bit. Jer makes the mistake of heading up to the bar and ordering his own drink, because of this both jer and Steve are cut off. Crazy Karl gets mad and storms off because his new found friends are denied. Chris shows up pulls out my check book and buys a round of drinks for the bar. I stumble home and pass out.
Later I am informed that Chris and Steve headed back out to the china pearl… leaving Jeremy passed out on the couch with a half eaten sandwich in his hand… and for some odd reason my butt hole hurts incredibly bad.

i was shot, pulled over by my eyes half closed and staring at a world so warm while getting sued for four-grand. Stuff i have to get off my chest. I work hard for what I have and that isn’t enough. The jungle of it all. I keep her in the back of my mind to kiss on nights like this. They all keep photos of me and I know they know they love me.
And that is the way we get by.
